Announcing The Family Feud Tournament This February: Bigger, Bolder,Better!

The Metro Card Club Davao announces its second Family Feud Tournament this February! The Family Feud Event last January 19, 2014 gained overwhelming results. The MCCD event that was supposed to be a one-time event can't say no to the numerous enthusiasts who were asking for more. And now, its back with a vengeance!

The new and improved Family Feud Tournament will be happening on February 16, 2014. Its bigger, bolder and better! More than 20 teams are expected to participate in the said event. Every team  of five members are required to have a team uniform for group pictorials and they should submit the following one week before the tournament proper:

1. 45-second sound clip that will serve as their soundtrack and
2. 2-minute video clip that will serve as introduction for each family member.

The tournament will start at 3PM so the teams as requested to be at The Metro Card Club Davao at least  30 minutes before starting for pictorials.

The second Family Feud Tournament with a buy in of Php 2,750.00, will be the most spectacular and much awaited tournament where teamwork is a big deal.

It will be participated by teams composed of known MCCD grinders and patrons ready to take home the pot.

Six Max Poker Teams led by Alden "Iceman" Almaden, DDS headed by Mr. Bong Tan, Team Atchup, Team Abapo, JackAss, River Lovers are just few of the teams expected to take the challenge.

To make it more exciting and heart-pounding experience for every team, an enhanced system was created.

Here is the enhanced "Family Feud" system for February 16, 2014 (METRO CARD CLUB DAVAO) based on what was discussed by Head Floor Manager Yson Lim, Tata Almaden, and Mr. Rebel "The King" Magdagasang:

A. Shootout levels

- Swap team option is available anytime. You can swap as many times as you want with any of your team mates, as long as you finish the current hand you are involved in as well as your team mate.

B. Finals levels

- A must swap system every two levels. Each team is required to swap players after every two levels depending on the team or team captain's choice. This is to encourage teams to have all team members play during the finals. It is not compulsory however to require all members to play in the finals. Depending on each of the team's strategy, each team can choose to have two or more swapping team mates to play during the finals.

Lifeline: Call the whole team

- This lifeline is allowed once every two levels during the finals only.

- Team decision shall not be limited to one action only but to the decision of that particular hand. It means that when your team mate is in a hand and calls for the team to make a decision, regardless if he calls for the team during pre-flop, or flop, or turn, or river, the whole team shall decide for that particular hand up to the action on the river.

- Team decision shall be discussed discreetly to maintain professionalism. Only the actual player involved in the hand is authorized to announce the team's decision.

We are inviting everyone to join this most exciting post Valentine event of the year here at the best deal in town, Metro Card Club Davao!
