Leader Board as of January 17,2014

Here's a quick update on who's leading the daily tournament at The Metro Card Club Davao:

Jemar "Tata" Cadangdang

Leading the board is Jemar aka "Tata" Cadangdang. He is a 26-year-old poker enthusiast who has been playing both cash in and tournament games. Aside from his good looks, he is also a competitive player. He has proven this by winning the BabyFace tournament in 2012 and being the Poker Face winner for December 2013. And oh, did I tell you that he is also a proud member of Da Mapya family?

Second on the list is the well-known Mr. Rebel "The King" Magdagasang. Other than being a Poker Star, he is also a composer. He is the man behind Sarah Geronimo, Yasmin Curdi and Julie Ann San Jose's fame. Why called "The King"? It is because he can pull out a miracle with his weak cards and grab a large amount of pot and he shouts "I'm the king of the world!". He also proved it by being the champion of Poker Face Tournaments twice. He also won the Philippine Poker Tour (PPT) Leg 2 with 1 Million guaranteed in Metro Card Club Manila. He played with the national champions!

Dave Ibao

The third spot goes to Dave Ibao. An Architect/VA who does freelance work and at the same time goes to school. Amazing, isn't it? His poker skills is beyond ordinary. Is it because of his excellent math skills? Whatever made him to the third spot is his to answer. A well-mannered and disciplined poker enthusiast. Will he make it to the wall of fame this month?

The Tournament Player of the Month for January will be competing along with the other monthly champions at the end of the year to be declared as the 2014 Tournament Player of the Year.
